  Cultural Association Pesci Volanti was founded in 2014 in Turin, with the goal to: "do almost impossible things in order to live". Pesci Volanti is mainly involved with activities such as live performances, theater education and cultural communication. Pesci Volanti designs and builds cultural events, drama, theatre for young generations, and object theatre, always experimenting with new ways of artistic research and the interaction with new technologies. For this project Pesci Volanti is working together with Rony Efrat, Pier Franco Brandimarte and Marco Magnone. 

  The project Choices is realised with the support of Compagnia di San Paolo and the project DE.MO./MOVIN'UP I sess. 2015.  promoted by: Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism General Directorate for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Suburbs General Directorate for Performing Arts and GAI – Association for the Circuit of the Young Italian Artists.

  The programme is realised in collaboration with Prostor Plus and withing the Residency Programme Kamov, in collaboration with MMSU Rijeka and City of Rijeka.

  Prostor Plus is supported by Zaklada Kultura nova. SU Molekula is the manager of the Filodrammatica, Marganovo and Palach.

• Choices

  24.08.-06.09.2015.

  Prostor Plus in collaboration with the Kamov resideny is hosting the italian young theater and performance makers Pesci Volanti to develop the project Choices about the life choices of young people. In the final faze of the project, Dduring their stay in Rijeka from august 24^th till September 6^th ,  with the participation of the interested audience shape the final form of their performance. This collaboration of Prostor Plus with Pesci Volanti is established because of the participation of Prostor Plus on the international project YPAL (Young Performance Art Lovers).

  Choices is a theater and storytelling project about the choices we make in our life. From February 2015 until June 2015 the project has collected stories of everyday choices from people and gathered them into a dedicated website of the project www.progettochoices.it/en/progetto/ .During the rehearsal, some of the stories will be selected by the artistic team and trasformed into a theater performance in which we will use the hands of an actress, some objects and video projections.

  The aim of the project is to let the audience live those small suspended moment of time when we decide in our life, while we are making a decision, and to tell all this stuff using the styles and methods of visual theater, object theater and narration.

  Open rehearsals and the discussion with subtitles or translation will take place on September 5 at 6 pm in the main hall of Filodrammatica (Korzo 28), followed by a discussion with the audience on the topic of "Life Choices".

• Prostor Plus, Association for the Performing Arts

  Prostor Plus is an association for performing arts from Rijeka that provides dance and physical theatre artists with training and performance opportunities. Since there are no higher education institutions for contemporary dance and physical theater in Croatia, Prostor Plus offers site-specific performances, lectures and film screenings to local audiences. Over the past last eleven years, this association has literally seeded the performing arts scene with artists, programs and productions displayed at some of the most important festivals in Croatia.
