Nenad Veličković
Nenad Veličković was born in 1962. in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a university lecturer, writer, editor, publisher, critic, analyst and initiator of numerous workshops and projects. He has worked for radio, television, theatre and published theoretical works and literary critic. Nevertheless, he is most widely known as author of the following novels: Konačari, Sahib, Otac moje kćeri/The Father of my daughter, and his latest works – novel 100 zmajeva/100 Dragons, collection of short stories Đavo u Sarajevu/Satan on Sarajevo and Viva sexico. / Education: 2010 - PhD in literature and history sciences, 2006. MA in literature and history sciences, 1986. - Professor of literary history of Yugoslavia and of Serbo-Croatian language. / Work experience : since 6.3.1996. till 31.12.1998. - Editor-in-chief of FAN magazine, since 23.07.1992. till 06.03.1996. editor of GIK "OKO", since 1.3.1991. till 23.07.1992. in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Army, since 1987. till 1990. - Secretary of the Institute for Literature in Sarajevo, Professor in 1st Sarajevo gymnasium / Awards: 1986. - Silver badge of the University of Sarajevo for excellence / Research: Political theatre of Dušan Kovačević (MA thesis Sarajevo, 2006.) , The Image of the Other in Vojisalv Lubarda's novel Vaznesenje (Works of Institute for literature in Belgrade, 2006.). Ideological instrumentalisation of literature in Bosnian-Herzegovinian textbooks of Bosnian/Croatian /Serbian language and literature. / Current projects: wors on a book entitled "Types of indoctrination" (with research results published within the dissertation)
