Mirjana Stefanović
Mirjana Stefanović was born in Niš in 1939 and was educated in Novi Sad, Belgrade and Delhi, India. She holds a Master 's Degree in English Literature . Since 1966 till 1967 she worked as a contributing journalist to the Third programme of Radio Belgrade, since 1967 till 1973 she was a journalist editor of Children's radio newsroom . Since 1974 till the middle of 1991 she worked as the editor of books for children and youth in the Nolit publishing house. She has won several literary awards, of which we emphasize: Desanka Maksimović Award – for her entire poetic oeuvre and contribution to the Serbian poetry (2010). Bosanski stećak Award - International Award Association of Writers of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( 2013) . Her works are represented in more than 70 anthologies .
