Milo Jukić
Milo Jukić (1966) was born in Deževice near Kreševo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has published two poetry books - Cuts and Scars (CKO, Tešanj, 2010) and From January to December (Planjax, Tesanj, 2016), books of travel prose - Three Days in Karaševo / Trei zile la Caraşova (ZHR-UCR, Romania, 2011, bilingual) and From Đerdap to the Adriatic (Klepsidra, Kreševo, 2017), and the novel You lose only once (TKD Šahinpašić, Sarajevo, 2013).
He has also published six books and about thirty historical and ethnological papers. He is the author and editor of numerous publications (monographs, annuals, guides, brochures, etc.), reviews and presentations of lexicographical entries. He participated on several scientific conferences in the field of history, ethnology and linguistics.
Jukić is the winner of the Creative events UVKF Award for 2013 (Velenje Literary Foundation, Velenje, Slovenia), the Sarajevo Publishing Foundation Award (2012 and 2015) and the 26th Sarajevo Book Fair Award as the best literary editor in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2013.
He was included in the Sublimisme balkanique Anthology / Poètes de Bosnie-Herzégovine / (M.E.O., Brussels, 2014) and is a member of Writers' Association and PEN Center of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Jukić is an editor-in-chief of the Fra Grgo Matić Foundation, author and editor of three Foundation’s Annuals , and from 2003 to 2012 he was an author and editor of the Lepenička dolina Annual.
