Jura Ruža i Martina Terzić
Jura Ruža graduated in 2022 at The Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek , Croatia. He holds a Master's degree in Non-Verbal Theatre and Bachelor's degree in Acting & Puppetry. As part of Erasmus student exchange program, he spent one semester studying Digital Interactive Arts at the Faculty of Theatre and Film in Cluj-Napoca (Romania).
He attended numerous workshops in the fields of acting (M. Čehov, S. Meisner, Grotowski...), physical theatre (Hannes Langolf, Jan Fabre Teaching Group, Lecoq) and contemporary dance (Gaga, Ferenc Feher, Francesco Scavetta).
He has collaborated with institutional and independent theatres across Croatia and performed in drama, puppet and children's plays and musicals. He is the author of several theatre plays; Self-isolation in 40 minutes (2020), Morphin' (2023) and Display Bar (2024), which were performed at numerous theatre festivals in Croatia (Eurijala, TranziT, PiF, Lutkokaz, Rasplesani park, Dani monodrame, ReUma). He also appeared in feature films directed by Damir Čučić and Matija Benić.
He has held numerous workshops in fields of acting, puppetry and non-verbal theater workshops for both children and adults. He currently lives in Zagreb.
Martina Terzić is a contemporary dancer and teacher who earned her BA in Contemporary Dance Education from ADU, Zagreb. Her passion for bridging contemporary dance and theater led her to pursue Nonverbal Theater, and in 2022, she completed her MA of Arts at AUKOS in Osijek.
Terzić has made significant contributions in the fields of dance, teaching, and choreography, particularly through her collaborative work with various artists. Her development in this regard has been shaped by the guidance and mentorship of both Croatian and internationally acclaimed dance pedagogues: Petra Hrašćanec, Ana Mrak, Nikolina Pristaš, Joan van der Mast, Matija Ferlin, Alen Čelić, Guy Nader, Milan Tomašik, Tomasz Rodowicz, Jasmin Novljaković, Elina Toneva…
Martina has been actively involved in several dance and drama productions as choreographer, author and performer. Some of her notable performances over the past three years: Instant (solo dance performance, M. Terzić, 2024), Display Bar (J. Ruža, 2024), Živa (dir. M. Vavan; chor. M.Terzić, 2024), Slučajni izbor/Choosing by chance (Dujmić/Špekuljuk, 2023), Pakao/Inferno (dir.Lemo; chor. Mujić, 2021).
In addition to her performances, Martina is an active member of dance organizations in Croatia; Croatian Dancers Association, UPUH and DaCi – Croatia: Dance and the Child.
