Hana Miletić
Hana Miletić was born in Zagreb in 1982. She lives and works in Brussels and Zagreb.
Miletić studied art history and archaeology (Vrije Universiteit Brussels, 2005), gender studies (Universiteit Utrecht, 2004) and photography at Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam (2006), and completed her graduate study in photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2009.
She has presented her work at exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. In 2021, she had a large solo exhibition in Bergen Kunsthall, as well as the exhibition The Approach in London. In 2018, her first larger institutional exhibition (at WIELS Contemporary Art Centre) was presented in Brussels. Miletić also exhibited her work at solo shows in Pristina, Amsterdam, Ghent, Antwerp, etc., and participated in group exhibitions in different institutions and galleries and as part of biennial exhibitions such as 13th Sharjah Biennial (2017), S.M.A.K., Ghent (2018-2019), Metro Pictures, New York (2019), Art Encounter Biennale Timisoara (2021), 58th Belgrade October Salon (2021), M Museum Leuven (2021), Stzuki Lodz Museum (2020), 3rd IAB Biennale of Industrial Art - Labin and Raša, (2020).
She won the BOZAR Award for Young Artists, the Young Belgian Art Prize (2015), and the Baloise Art Prize (Art Basel), which included the purchase of her works for the MUDAM Museum in Luxemburg.
