Bruno Pocheron (born 1968) studied visual arts in France and is currently living in Berlin. He works internationally mostly as light designer, but also as technical director, set designer and sound designer. Together with Isabelle Schad and Ben Anderson, he initiated the collaborative framework Good Work, concerned with the representation and perception of the body onstage and in society. He's currently involved in stage projects with Nancy Banfi (Berlin), Annie Dorsen (New York), Mette Edvardsen (Brussels), Alix Eynaudi (Wien), Anne Juren (Wien), Aline Landreau (Berlin), Martin Nachbar (Berlin), and Doris Uhlich (Wien). He's coorganizing Wiesenburghalle (Wiesen55 e.V.), a collective working space in BerlinWedding, and Gangplank, an open network of artists and designers focusing on intermedia communication, relations between technology and art, and crossovers between the fields at play in contemporary performancemaking. He develops software interfaces in PureData and vvvv, allowing for a fluid communication between lights, sound and video and researches the dramaturgical impact of these elements.
Emese Csornai, from Budapest, is a Berlin-based theater professional with a visual art background, specialized in installation, performance and light design. She has studied architecture in Budapest and got a BA at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 2009. She started learning theater light design in 2007, later guided by Ellen Knops. She has been a dramaturg and light designer of Mono dance collective 2010-12. Her ongoing collaboration with Silvia Bennett has continued as TriCo. performance trio. 2008-14 she has been working years for the Monday Match improvisation series in Bimhuis Amsterdam, and with independent productions at Overtoom 301. She has directed the performances On being ill (2013) and Doos (2014), and has exhibited several of her installations. She has held workshops on improvisation techniques: The Pool (2012-14) Images in motion (2014) My body of words in space (2014) and Performing: Space(2015). She has worked internationally for contemporary operas, dance performances, illusionist shows, spoken word and experimental theater and community projects. Among others she has worked with Alexandra Bachzetsis, Julyen Hamilton, Maya M. Carroll, Katie Duck, Sabine Molenaar, Kenzo Kusuda, Michael Schumacher, Makiko Ito, Miri Lee, Khouloud Yassine, Lily Kiara, Marek Jason Isleib, Alfredo Genovesi, Georgi Sztojanov, Gabor Csongradi. Currently she works as a freelance light designer and as a technician.
