Carlos Franklin
Carlos Franklin is an unconventional multi-media artist from Bogota (Columbia) who currently lives and works on relation Paris-London. His work is an inquiry of foreignness: another language, another country, another religion, another gender, etc. This condition allows him to hybridize histories, languages, landscapes, architectures, cultures, techniques -high and low ones-… His projects are meticulous, analyzing with a drawing eye, the structure of his artworks, the speeches they cross; his videos mix real and generated images, becoming spaces for observation, or spatial experiences materialized in installations.
